SCERT, Assam has released the official notification for admission into 2 - Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course 2020-2022.

Name of course: 2 - Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course 2020-2022

* The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2020-2022 beginning from 1st July, 2020.

Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in extra optional.

[For candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category there will be relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate.}

Age: The applicant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July.2020. There will be relaxation by 2 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories.

Reservation Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/Person With Disability (PWD) will be as per existing Govt. norms. Detail is available in our official website http://www.scertassam.co.in .

Application Fee: Rs. 400.00 (Rupees four hundred only) for all categories to be Paid online (Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Wallet).

Selection Process: Candidates who are permanent resident of Assam have to appear in the Pre Entry Test (PET)-2020 for admission into 2 - Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course.

Admit Cards: Candidates will be able to download his/her Admit Card from the website,
https://www.scertassam.co.in/ from 22nd April, 2020 by entering his/her Application Number and Date of Birth generated during online submission of application.

Venue for Pre Entry Test (PET): The venue for the Pre Entry Test (PET) will be DIET of a District. However, depending upon the number of candidates the Pre Entry Test may be held
in nearby TEI/school/college etc. The venue for the Pre Entry Test will be indicated in the Admit Card of the candidates.

Date of Pre Entry Test (PET), 2020: 26th April, 2020 .

Assam Police Recruitment 2020, Apply for 204 Junior Assistant & Stenographer Posts

Assam Police has released an employment notification for the recruitment to the 185 Junior Assistant posts and 19 posts of Stenographer (Grade-III) under Directorate of A.P.HQrs. and district police cadre.

1. Junior Assistant (A.P.HQrs)
No of posts: 15 [UR: 4, OBC/MOBC: 3, SC: 3, STH: 1, STP: 3, EWS: 1]

Pay: Rs 14000-49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 6200 grade pay
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University and must possess Diploma in Computer.

2. Junior Assistant (District Police)
No of posts: 170 [UR: 60, OBC/ MOBC: 38, SC: 8, STH: 3, STP: 16, EWS: 45]

Pay: Rs 14000-49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 6200 grade pay
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University and must possess Diploma in Computer.

3. Stenographer (Grade-III)
No of posts: 19 [OBC/ MOBC: 5, SC: 1, STH: 3, STP: 5, EWS: 5]

Pay: Rs 14000-49000 (Pay Band No.2) plus Rs. 8700 grade pay
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognized University with having National Trade Certificate in stenography from ITI in Assam or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam/Govt. of India with 80 WPM in English Stenography.

Age: Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2020 (candidate must have born on or before 01-01-2002 and on or after 01-01-1982) .
Relaxation :Upper age limit is relaxable as under:
i) 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST (H) &ST (P).
ii) 03 (three) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Selection Process: Written Test, Practical Test & Stenography Test (For Stenographer Gr III only).

Assam Police Constable Admit Card 2020: Download of Call Letter Suspended due to Lockdown

Assam Police has suspended the download process of admit card for the recruitment to 6662 Constable (UB) & Constable (AB) posts in Assam Police due to 21 days nation-wide lock down. In this regard, anotification has been released. 

The notification reads as follows: 

Reference recruitment of 2391 posts of Constables (UB) & 4271 posts of Constable (AB) in Assam Police & Notice issued vide No. SLPRB/REC/CONST/(AB & UB)/2018/Vol-II/49 dated 06-03-2020.

In view of the Government's declaration of 21 days Nationwide Lock down, the downloading of admit card has been suspended until further order. The new dates will be uploaded in our website later on. 

 
Earlier, Assam Police released the admit card w.e.f. 10-03-2020 for the recruitment to 6662 Constable (UB) &  Constable (AB) posts in Assam Police .

State Bank of India has invited applications for SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2020, a 13-month long fellowship that enables nation's youth to work on rural development projects in partnership with experienced NGOs.

Name of programme: SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2020

Programme Outline: The Program seeks to help India secure an equitable and sustainable growth path by:

* Providing educated and passionate urban Indian youth with an opportunity to touch lives and create positive change at the grass root level in rural india
* Providing NGOs working on development projects in rural India with educated manpower whose skill sets can be used to catalyze rural development.
* Promoting a forum for the Program alumni to share ideas and contribute to rural development throughout their professional life.

Eligibility Criteria: Undergraduate / Bachelors; Completed before August, 2020
Age: Between 21 to 32 Years Old as of August 1, 2020

Citizenship: Indian citizen/OCI.
Fellowship: 
* Stipend: Rs 15,000/- to meet living expenses
* Local Transport Allowance: Rs 1,000/- per month
* A Readjustment Allowance of Rs. 50,000/- upon successful completion of the Fellowship
* To and fro travel costs of the Fellows from his/her place of residence to project location as well as for training programmes
* Medical Insurance
* Mentorship by experienced professionals in the field
* Access to the Community through well-established Partner NGOs
* Linkages with premier organizations of the country

Screening & Shortlisting: 
* Application forms are out in the first half of the year. We put notifications on our website and social media platforms once we start accepting applications.
* Interested candidates have to register and fill the form.
* Shortlisted candidates are notified on an ongoing basis during the application period. We continuously engage with shortlisted applicants over an online forum to get to know them better as well as clarify their doubts regarding the Fellowship.

Interview/s: Short-listed candidates are called for interview rounds held across major cities in India.

Final Selection: 
* Candidates selected post interview will be notified via e-mail and/or SMS.
